Wash & Care/Refund Policy for Smocks ✨

We’ve recently received a higher volume of emails regarding care concerns, and I’d like to clarify our policy to avoid any misunderstandings.

🔹 Handsmocked items are best cared for by handwashing.
🔹 At your risk, if using a washing machine, wash inside out, on delicate cycle, in cold water only.
🔹 Do NOT place smocks in the dryer, air dry flat to maintain shape and detail.
🔷 Please note: All of our smocks are handmade by artisans. Small variations are natural and part of the beauty of handmade work. True perfection in every detail does not exist.

A note on fabric: One of our manufacturers uses a custom knit technology that may feel “cool” or slightly damp to the touch, though the fabric is not wet. We have confirmed this is a normal characteristic of their material.

Please remember:
• We cannot be held responsible for damage after washing or use outside of these care guidelines.
• Refunds are not offered unless manufacturer error with a store credit. 
• Items claimed as defective will be carefully reviewed. We cannot honor requests if items were found listed in resale groups in good condition before claiming as defective.
